Over the last 40 years, I have subscribed to more than 35 option and stock trading services. This book presents “the best of the best” ideas I have tested and evaluated. It will save time and money reading about my selections of trading advice. This book teaches:

- How to trade any time you wish, even after work.
- How to select option strike prices and expiration dates.
- How to calculate potential profit and loss for stock and option trades.
- How to have stock trading insurance to protect from losing money.
- Examples of winning stock screens.
- Call options, put options, covered calls, debit spreads, and straddles.
I teach many methods that help you to avoid common mistakes and unnecessary risks and experimentation. This is a foundation of advice I have honed and used over the last 60 years.
Originally written for my family and friends, many who recognized its value urged me to make it available for everyone. It’s a true and useful collection that can be passed on to family and friends.
About the author:
In 1965 I began working as a full-time partner with my father at Marbury Engineering Company and started trading. In 1966 I began managing the retirement account for Marbury Engineering Company. During that time from 1966 until I sold the company in 2004, I never had a losing year.
What inspired you to write your book?
After considering writing this book for several years, Stephanie Chandler offered the course “Write Your Nonfiction Manuscript in 90 Days.” That helped to motivate me to write and complete the book. I also felt this information was needed by all investors.
You completed this book while taking part in the “Write Your Nonfiction Manuscript n 90 Days” course with Stephanie Chandler and the Nonfiction Authors Association. First of all, congratulations on that accomplishment! How did this course help you in your goals to finish your first draft?
Several things. As stated earlier, I had considered writing the book for many years. The course was motivation to write the book. Next, contact with many other writers helped me get a better idea of what works and what does not work. Third, Stephanie is a master instructor. She has workable answers to many questions and understands how best to construct and market books. She has actually done what she teaches.
What else is next for you?
Although I have written many books, this is the first book I am attempting to market. I believe this book contains so many things not found in most books on investing that I believe others need an easy way to learn the information it teaches. I do plan to write more books in the future.
